Write 1 Sub 1 - March 2012

I did it again!  In March, I successfully wrote one story and submitted one story.  Since my February submission was rejected so quickly, it got to go out again this month!

Write 1: "The Silver Lining: O My Father" (adapted excerpt from my first novel)
Sub 1: "The Depths of Inner Space" (come on, publishers -- it's one of my best stories so far :) )

Now, on to April.  I have a doozy of a story I want to do next, but I don't know if I'm ready yet.  There's isn't a definite name yet.  Island of DarknessGodspring?

How's your writing going?  Need a challenge to help you to remember to write?  Then check out Write 1 Sub 1.

Congratulations on meeting your goals.

Titles are realy hard to get right and sometimes second best is all you can do...until it's been submitted and then you think of a doozy.

Well done on meeting your March W1S1 goals! I find creating good titles to be a real challenge most of the time. Too many of mine start out as "Somebody's Something" or "The Something" -- but I like the sound of "Godspring."

Congratulations on hitting your W1S1 goals. Good luck for next mount. This year I've decided to sub a lot of my older stories until I run out of markets or they get bought.

I've never tried W1S1, mostly because I gave up writing short stories (I suck at them) and embraced the full length novel. Also, I vote for Godspring. That sounds awesome.
